Founded in 2017, Nicole Banholzer PR is a boutique publicity firm specializing in children’s books. We have worked with clients including Random House, Macmillan, HarperCollins, Candlewick, Running Press, NorthSouth, and Little, Brown, among many more. Campaigns are tailor-made, and can include media outreach (national, regional, nice, and more), event support, tour planning, and social media management.
Nicole Banholzer, Founder
With over a decade of experience in the publicity departments of several major publishers, including Random House Children’s Books, Macmillan Children’s Publishing Group, and Sasquatch Books, Nicole founded her eponymous publicity firm in 2017. Authors she has worked with include Steve Sheinkin, Katherine Applegate, Erin A. Craig, Kekla Magoon, Matthew Cordell, Kimberly Willis Holt, and Cynthia Voigt.
She lives in Saint Paul, MN with her family and two large dogs, and can often be found wandering local bookstores with an iced coffee in hand.
Cate Turner, Associate Publicist
Cate Turner is from freezing Saint Paul, Minnesota, but is now living in much warmer California. She graduated from Syracuse University in 2021 with a B.A. in International Relations. She studied abroad twice in college, once in France and once in New Zealand, and she has lots of fun stories to share from her time overseas. Cate has previously interned at Writers House and Triada US Literary Agency. She is passionate about promoting books by Queer and BIPOC authors. She likes to play video games, travel, and rock climb in her free time.
